Nuffield

Nuffield Ireland is an independent organisation that promotes excellence by developing and supporting individuals with leadership potential, thereby striving to positively influence all aspects of Irish agriculture. It is linked with Nuffield organisations in a number of other countries with similar ambitions, and is part of a valuable global network.

The Trust invites applications from candidates who meet the criteria for a scholarship, who have leadership potential and who are prepared to contribute to the improvement of agriculture after the period of their scholarship. Following a process of selection which includes interview, suitable candidates are awarded a scholarship which includes a bursary to travel and study a topic of interest to the sector, and produce a written report. This provides them with a global perspective, exposure to new methods and ideas as well as the stimulus to become an influencer in their industry.

Scholars receive guidance and supports from Nuffield Ireland to assist them to make the most of their Nuffield scholarship and to fulfil the expectations of the Board of Nuffield and our sponsors.

The Golden Jubilee Trust sponsors one scholarship under the Nuffield Ireland programme.
